US Open: Cirstea moves into second round, waiting for Petkovic or Bencic
Sorana Cirstea won against Laura Siegemund 6-4, 6-4 on Tuesday and will face the winner of the match between German Andrea Petkovic and Swiss Belinda Bencic, the No 13 seed, in the next round

Romanian Sorana Cirstea advanced to the second round of the US Open by defeating German Laura Siegemund 6-4, 6-4 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City on Tuesday.
Cirstea, ranked No 37, will face the winner of the match between soon retired German Andrea Petkovic and Swiss Belinda Bencic, the No 13 seed, next.
