Slovenian qualifier Dalila Jakupovic reached the last 16 of the Firenze Ladies Open by defeating Mexican Fernanda Contreras Gomez 6-3, 6-1 on Tuesday evening.
Jakupovic, ranked No 207, will face Italian Lucia Bronzetti, the No 8 seed, next.
