Belarusian Victoria Azarenka, the No 10 seed, reached the round of 32 of the Guadalajara Open Akron by winning against American Robin Montgomery 6-1, 6-1 on Monday evening.
Azarenka, ranked No 23, will play Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska next.
