Britain’s Davis Cup hopes hit by Evans withdrawal, doubts over Norrie
Former world No 1 Andy Murray and youngster Jack Draper are likely to lead the team in Malaga

Britain’s hopes of winning the Davis Cup have been hit by injuries to Dan Evans and Cameron Norrie.
Evans announced on Sunday that he will not be able to compete, due to the calf injury he suffered in Vienna earlier this week, while Norrie has pulled out of the upcoming Paris Masters with a knee injury.
“I am extremely disappointed but wish the team all the very best in Malaga,” Evans wrote on Instagram.
“I will be working hard with my support team to get back to full fitness as soon as possible.”
Murray and Draper set to lead team in Malaga
Evans and Norrie had been likely to be first-choice selections for the singles in Malaga, where Britain are due to play Serba in the quarter-finals.
Their absence would leave former world No 1 Andy Murray and Jack Draper as the singles players.
The Davis Cup “Final 8” will be played from November 21-26.
