Montpellier Open: Mmoh defeats Muller to makes quarter-finals
Michael Mmoh won against Alexandre Muller 6-4, 6-4 on Wednesday. He’ll play the winner of the match between Dane Holger Rune, the top seed, and Spanish qualifier Pablo Llamas Ruiz in the next round

American Michael Mmoh reached the quarter-finals of the Montpellier Open by winning against Frenchman Alexandre Muller, the No 7 seed, 6-4, 6-4 at the Sud de France Arena.
Mmoh, ranked No 133, will play the winner of the match between Dane Holger Rune, the top seed, and Spanish qualifier Pablo Llamas Ruiz next.
The American defeated Frenchman Benjamin Bonzi (6-3, 7-5) ahead of his victory.
In the previous round of the Montpellier tournament, Muller, ranked No 71, won against qualifier Antoine Escoffier (7-6 (4), 6-3).
