Dubai Open: Bublik books spot in quarter-finals
The Kazakh will play the winner of the match between Jiri Lehecka and Russian Karen Khachanov, the No 4 seed, in the next round

Kazakh Alexander Bublik, the No 7 seed, reached the last eight of the Dubai Open by beating Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor 7-6 (8), 7-6 (2) at the Aviation Club Tennis Centre on Wednesday.
Bublik, ranked No 23, will play the winner of the match between Jiri Lehecka and Russian Karen Khachanov, the No 4 seed, next.
In the previous round of the tournament, the Kazakh edged out qualifier Tomas Machac (2-6, 6-3, 7-6 (5)).
Griekspoor, ranked No 28, benefited from the abandonment of Jordanian wildcard Abdullah Shelbayh (7-5, 2-0) earlier in the week.
