Musetti cruises into Croatia Open final

Italian Lorenzo Musetti, the second seed, defeated Jakub Mensik 6-4, 6-1 to reach the final of the Croatia Open at the ITC Stella Maris in Umag on Friday evening.
Musetti, ranked No 17, will play Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo, the No 4 seed, next.
Earlier in the tournament, the 22-year-old Italian won against Argentinian qualifier Marco Trungelliti (6-4, 6-3) and Serb Dusan Lajovic (5-7, 6-3, 6-0).
Mensik, ranked No 81, beat Australian Alexei Popyrin (6-3, 6-2), Italian Luciano Darderi, the No 5 seed (6-4, 6-3) and lucky loser Chun-Hsin Tseng (6-0, 6-4) in the previous rounds of the Umag tournament.
