Hungarian Marton Fucsovics defeated Italian Luca Nardi 6-3, 6-1 to advance to the second round of the Bucharest Open at the Năstase & Marica Sports Club. on Tuesday.

Fucsovics, ranked No 90, will face Argentinian Mariano Navone, the No 7 seed, next.
