Wimbledon: Cobolli impresses against Mensik to make maiden Grand Slam second week

Italian Flavio Cobolli, the No 22 seed, won against No 15 seed Jakub Mensik 6-2, 6-4, 6-2 to move into the last 16 of Wimbledon at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Saturday.
Cobolli, ranked No 24, will face the winner of the match between Croat Marin Cilic and Spaniard Jaume Munar next.
The Italian beat Kazakh qualifier Beibit Zhukayev (6-3, 7-6 (7), 6-1) and wildcard Jack Pinnington Jones (6-1, 7-6 (6), 6-2) ahead of his victory.
In the previous rounds of The Championships, Mensik, ranked No 17, won against Frenchman Hugo Gaston (6-1, 4-6, 6-2, 6-2) and edged out American Marcos Giron (6-4, 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 (4)).
