Cincinnati Masters: Shapovalov makes last 16

Canadian Denis Shapovalov beat American Tommy Paul 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 to advance to the last 16 of the Cincinnati Masters at the Linder Tennis Family Center on Wednesday evening.
Shapovalov, ranked No 21, will play Russian Daniil Medvedev, the top seed, next.
The Canadian won against Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, the No 16 seed (7-6 (4), 6-3) ahead of his victory.
In the previous round of the Cincy Open, Paul, ranked No 31, defeated Jenson Brooksby (6-3, 6-2).
