Delray Beach Open: Thompson books spot in second round
Jordan Thompson beat Daniel Evans 7-5, 6-0. He’ll play the winner of the match between Aleksandar Kovacevic and Moreno De Alboran in the next round

Australian Jordan Thompson moved into the second round of the Delray Beach Open by beating No 7 seed Daniel Evans 7-5, 6-0 at the Delray Beach Stadium and Tennis Center.
Thompson, ranked No 42, will play the winner of the match between wildcard Aleksandar Kovacevic and qualifier Nicolas Moreno De Alboran next.
