Eastbourne Open: Barrere moves into last four

Frenchman Gregoire Barrere won against Serb Miomir Kecmanovic, the No 8 seed, 7-5, 7-6 (2) to reach the last four of the Eastbourne Open at the Devonshire Park Lawn Tennis Club on Thursday evening.
Barrere, ranked No 57, will face the winner of the match between J.J. Wolf and second seed Tommy Paul next.
The Frenchman edged out Finn Emil Ruusuvuori (3-6, 7-6 (6), 7-6 (4)) and Chilean Nicolas Jarry, the No 5 seed (6-3, 4-6, 6-4) earlier in the tournament.
In the previous rounds of the Eastbourne tournament, Kecmanovic, ranked No 41, defeated Chinese Yibing Wu (7-6 (4), 7-6 (5)) and Australian qualifier Aleksandar Vukic (7-6 (6), 6-4).
