No 5 seed Albert Ramos-Vinolas advanced to the semi-finals of the Generali Open by winning against No 7 seed Pedro Martinez 6-4, 6-2 at Kitzbühel Tennis Club on Thursday.
Ramos-Vinolas, ranked No 52, will play the winner of the match between Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut, the No 3 seed, and Czech Jiri Lehecka next.
Ahead of his victory, Albert Ramos-Vinolas beat Peruvian Juan Pablo Varillas (6-3, 6-4).
Martinez, ranked No 49, won against Chilean wildcard Nicolas Jarry (7-6 (4), 6-3) and Argentinian Federico Coria (6-4, 6-3) earlier in the tournament.
