Gijon Open: Carreno Busta makes quarter-finals
Pablo Carreno Busta defeated Thiago Monteiro 6-4, 7-6 (3) on Wednesday evening. He’ll play Arthur Rinderknech in the next round

Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta, the second seed, won against Brazilian Thiago Monteiro 6-4, 7-6 (3) to move into the last eight of the Gijon Open at the Palacio deportes on Wednesday evening.
Carreno Busta, ranked No 15, will face Arthur Rinderknech next.
Monteiro, ranked No 65, beat Frenchman Benjamin Bonzi (6-4, 7-5) in the previous round.
