Houston Open: Quinn falls to Smith in second round
Smith will play American Tommy Paul, the top seed, in the next round

Qualifier Colton Smith beat wildcard Ethan Quinn 6-3, 6-4 to advance to the quarter-finals of the Houston Open at River Oaks Country Club on Wednesday.
Smith, ranked No 200, will play American Tommy Paul, the top seed, in the next round.
In the previous round of the tournament, Smith won against Australian James Duckworth (6-2, 6-2).
Quinn, ranked No 130, won against Australian Jordan Thompson, the No 6 seed (4-6, 6-4, 6-3) in the previous round of the Houston tournament.
