Czech Jiri Lehecka scored a straight sets win over Italy’s Matteo Arnaldi at the ATP Next Gen Finals in Milan to qualify for the semi-finals.

Lehecka won 4-3, 4-1, 4-3 in one hour and 18 minutes to score his second win in three round robin matches in the Green Group.

Lehecka converted one of six break points while saving all six against his own serve during the match.

The Czech had defeated another Italian, Francesco Passaro, but went down to Brandon Nakashima earlier in the week.

Nakashima meets Passaro in another round-robin match later on Thursday, with that match deciding the second semi-finalist.

Nakashima needs to win just one set in that match to qualify for the semi-finals from the Green Group.
