Madrid Masters: Bonzi upsets Hurkacz to reach third round
The Frenchman will face the winner of the match between American Taylor Fritz, the No 3 seed, and Australian Christopher O’Connell in the next round

Frenchman Benjamin Bonzi beat Pole Hubert Hurkacz, the No 27 seed, 6-4, 7-5 to advance to the third round of the Madrid Masters at the Caja Mágica on Friday.
Bonzi, ranked No 62, will play the winner of the match between American Taylor Fritz, the No 3 seed, and Australian Christopher O’Connell next.
In the previous round of the Madrid tournament, the Frenchman won against Croat wildcard Marin Cilic (6-3, 6-2).
