Marseille Open: Top seed Hurkacz makes quarter-finals

Pole Hubert Hurkacz, the top seed, reached the last eight of the Marseille Open by defeating Swiss Leandro Riedi 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 at the Palais des sports de Marseille on Thursday.
Hurkacz, ranked No 11, will play Swede Mikael Ymer next.
This was the first time Riedi has faced a player ranked in the top 15, and will surely feel pleased with a creditable performance in his third main-draw appearance at a 250-level event.
Riedi, ranked No 133, won against Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech (6-3, 6-4) in the previous round of the Open de Provence.
