Miami Masters: Korda moves into last 16, beats Tsitsipas
Sebastian Korda beat Stefanos Tsitsipas 7-6 (4), 6-3 on Sunday. He’ll face the winner of the match between Spaniard Jaume Munar and Frenchman Gael Monfils in the next round

American Sebastian Korda, the No 24 seed, moved into the last 16 of the Miami Masters by defeating Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, the No 9 seed, 7-6 (4), 6-3 at the Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday.
It is Korda’s second Top 10 win on American soil, four years after beating Diego Schwartzman to reach the Miami quarter-finals in 2021.
Tsitsipas is still yet to reach a semi-final at either Miami or Indian Wells, and sought medical treatment at 5-2 down in the second set.
Korda, ranked No 25, will face the winner of the match between Spaniard Jaume Munar and Frenchman Gael Monfils next.
Ahead of his victory, the American won against wildcard Eliot Spizzirri (6-4, 6-2).
Tsitsipas, ranked No 10, won against qualifier Chun-Hsin Tseng (4-6, 7-5, 6-3) in the previous round of the Miami Open.
