Monte-Carlo Masters: Tsitsipas reaches second round via Djere walkover

Two-time Monte-Carlo champion Stefanos Tsitsipas, the No 12 seed, moved into the second round of the Monte-Carlo Masters when Serb Laslo Djere retired on Monday afternoon at Monte-Carlo Country Club.
Tsitsipas, ranked No 12, led 6-3, 3-2 when Djere, ranked No 34, pulled out on Monday at Monte-Carlo Country Club.
The Greek will face the winner of the match between Chilean Nicolas Jarry and Argentinian Tomas Martin Etcheverry next.
