Queen’s: Strong start from Rune

Dane Holger Rune, the No 4 seed, advanced to the second round of the Queen’s by defeating Australian lucky loser Christopher O’Connell 6-3, 6-4 at Queen’s Club in London on Monday afternoon.

Rune, ranked No 9, will face the winner of the match between American qualifier Mackenzie McDonald and Frenchman Gael Monfils next.
