Winston-Salem Open: Koepfer advances to last 16
Dominik Koepfer defeated Strong Kirchheimer 6-3, 6-2 on Tuesday evening and will play the winner of the match between No 5 seed Jiri Lehecka and American qualifier Mitchell Krueger in the next round

German Dominik Koepfer reached the last 16 of the Winston-Salem Open by defeating American lucky loser Strong Kirchheimer 6-3, 6-2 at Wake Forest Tennis Complex on Tuesday evening.
Koepfer, ranked No 78, will play the winner of the match between No 5 seed Jiri Lehecka and American qualifier Mitchell Krueger next.
