The Davis Cup in 2025 has shifted to a “Final 8” knockout format. Seven teams will join host Italy for the November finals in Bologna. These seven teams will have three-day ties from September 12–14 across host nations with the home/away. Each tie features five matches: four singles, one doubles, and the team that wins three advances.

Where and when the 2025 Davis Cup finals will take place?

The Davis Cup Finals in November 2025 will be held at the BolognaFiere exhibition centre in Bologna, Italy. The event will take place from Tuesday, November 18 to Sunday, November 23, 2025. The Finals feature the Final 8 teams competing in a knockout format on a hard indoor surface. This marks the fourth consecutive year Bologna is hosting major Davis Cup action, with the Super Tennis Arena at BolognaFiere as the venue for the tournament climax. Italy will participate as the host nation, joined by seven winners from the September qualifiers.

The final spot in the Qualifiers Second Round was filled by Netherlands, promoted to this second round after finishing as the runners-up in the 2024 Davis Cup Finals. The 2024 champions, Italy, automatically qualified for the Final 8 as the host nation.
