Roland-Garros: Norrie the victor in battle of the Brits

Cameron Norrie moved into the last 16 of Roland-Garros by winning against Jacob Fearnley 6-3, 7-6 (1), 6-2.

It is the first time he has reached the fourth round in Paris.

Norrie, ranked No 81, will play the winner of the match between Austrian qualifier Filip Misolic and Serb Novak Djokovic, the No 6 seed, next.

Earlier in the tournament, Cameron Norrie beat Russian Daniil Medvedev, the No 11 seed (7-5, 6-3, 4-6, 1-6, 7-5) and Argentinian lucky loser Federico Agustin Gomez (7-6 (7), 6-2, 6-1).

Fearnley, ranked No 55, defeated Swiss wildcard Stan Wawrinka (7-6 (6), 6-3, 6-2) and Frenchman Ugo Humbert, the No 22 seed (6-3, 4-4 ret.) in the previous rounds of the Roland-Garros 2025.
