Djokovic – Nishioka made history under the lights

The match between Djokovic and Nishikova at 8:45 pm CET was the first ever night session on the court Philippe-Chatrier with a full packed stadium. The night sessions on 2021 happened behind closed doors or with 5,000 spectateurs (Berrettini – Djokovic, with evacuation at 10:00 pm).

Wimbledon points on the table

ATP and WTA removing points from Wimbledon is a hot topic in Roland-Garros. Nadal didn’t want to share his view but Osaka said she’s not sure to play without being challenged on the rankings.

Rainy day : game suspended twice

For the first time of Roland-Garros 2022, the game was stopped on all the courts, Philippe-Chatrier excluded, because of the rain at 1:00 pm local time, til 3:00 pm. Another delay happened around 9:35 pm CET. Ten matches were on the run at the moment.
