Rune set for quick return from injury at UTS Oslo
The Dane had quit in the semi-finals in Montpellier last weekend with a forearm injury
World No 7 Holger Rune will make a quick return from injury when he plays in this weekend’s UTS Oslo event.
The 20-year-old Dane pulled out of his semi-final in Montpellier last weekend, with his mother, Aneke, revealing that he’d been struggling with a forearm injury.
But Rune has recovered and will take his place in the eight-man field for the first UTS event of 2024.
Russian Andrey Rublev, Australia’s Alex De Minaur, Casper Ruud, Alexander Bublik, Dominic Thiem, Gael Monfils and Benoit Paire complete the line-up for the event, which takes place on February 9 and 10.
