Video: Nadal loses two matches – but not his spectacular game
Rafael Nadal lost to Murray and Shapovalov at the Mubadala World Tennis Championship, but the Spaniard played some good tennis.
December 20, 2021
After four months without playing tennis due to a left foot injury, Rafael Nadal made his comeback during an exhibition in Abu Dhabi. The Majorcan lost both his matches at the Mubadala World Tennis Championship, against Andy Murray and Denis Shapovalov. But the Spaniard seemed physically ready and was not bothered by his foot. An encouraging performance before the start of the 2022 season, even though he tested positive for Covid-19 on his return to Spain, which makes his participation in the Australian Open very uncertain.
