13,729: Isner breaks all-time record for most aces in tennis history
American John Isner has now hit more aces than any other player in tennis history, beating the record earlier held by Ivo Karlovic

American John Isner has become the all-time leader for aces in men’s tennis after breaking the long-standing record of Ivo Karlovic.
Karlovic has hit 13,728 aces in his career so far, and Isner broke the record by hitting five aces during his third round match against Jannik Sinner at Wimbledon on Friday.
Karlovic, who is now 43 years old, has not played on the tour since Indian Wells in late 2021, which means that Isner should have the record safe for some time at least.
“It’s actually really cool. It’s something I’m really proud of,” Isner said after his second round win over Andy Murray. “I will be the all-time leader. I’ll keep playing, keep adding to my total… I don’t know if [the record] will get broken. I could be up there for a long time.”
Third on the all-time list is 20-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer, who has hit 11.478 aces since 1991 when the ATP Tour began tracking aces.
