Wimbledon: Cocciaretto books spot in third round against Pegula
Elisabetta Cocciaretto won against Rebeka Masarova 6-3, 6-1 on Thursday. She’ll play the winner of the match between American Jessica Pegula, the No 4 seed, and Spaniard Cristina Bucsa in the next round

Italian Elisabetta Cocciaretto moved into the third round of Wimbledon by defeating Spaniard Rebeka Masarova 6-3, 6-1 at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Thursday afternoon.
Cocciaretto, ranked No 43, will face American Jessica Pegula, the No 4 seed, in the last 32.
In the previous round of The Championships, the 22-year-old Italian won against Colombian Camila Osorio (6-3, 6-4).
Masarova, ranked No 66, edged out Egyptian Mayar Sherif, the No 31 seed (7-5, 3-6, 7-6 (6)) in the previous round of The Championships.
