Arango advances to Merida title match
Emiliana Arango held off Daria Saville in three sets on Saturday in Merida. Arango will face Emma Navarro in the final on Sunday.

Qualifier Emiliana Arango advanced to the final of the Mérida Open Akron by beating Australian qualifier Daria Saville 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 on Saturday night.
Arango, ranked No 133, will battle American Emma Navarro, the top seed, for the title.
Earlier in the tournament the Colombian defeated Argentinian lucky loser Maria Lourdes Carle (6-2, 6-3), qualifier Francesca Jones (3-6, 6-3, 3-4 ret.) and Slovak Rebecca Sramkova (5-7, 6-3, 6-0).
Saville, ranked No 121, made her run to the semis at the expense of Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk, the No 6 seed (6-4, 7-6 (6)), Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina (4-6, 6-2, 6-2) and Spaniard Paula Badosa, the second seed (1-6, 5-3 ret.).
