Austin Open: Kessler sets up all-American final against Pegula
McCartney Kessler took care of Greet Minnen in straight sets on Saturday afternoon at the Austin tournament. Kessler will meet Jessica Pegula in the final.

McCartney Kessler, the No 5 seed, moved into the final of the Austin Open by beating Belgian Greet Minnen 7-5, 6-4 at the Westwood Country Club on Saturday.
Kessler, ranked No 56, will face fellow American Jessica Pegula for the title on Sunday.
Kessler previously defeated Swiss lucky loser Viktorija Golubic (6-2, 7-5), Spanish qualifier Cristina Bucsa (5-7, 6-3, 7-6 (4)) and Romanian Sorana Cirstea (5-7, 6-4, 6-1).
Minnen, ranked No 92, advanced to the semis at the expense of Chinese qualifier Sijia Wei (5-7, 6-3, 6-2), Dutchwoman Suzan Lamens, the No 8 seed (6-1, 6-0) and American Caroline Dolehide (6-3, 7-5).
