BBVA Open Internacional De Valencia: Li upsets Trevisan to move into quarter-finals
Ann Li beat Martina Trevisan 2-6, 6-3, 6-3 on Thursday. She’ll face the winner of the match between Mona Barthel and Elvina Kalieva in the next round

American Ann Li won against Italian Martina Trevisan, the No 3 seed, 2-6, 6-3, 6-3 to move into the quarter-finals of the BBVA Open Internacional De Valencia on Thursday.
Li, ranked No 172, will play the winner of the match between German Mona Barthel and American Elvina Kalieva next.
Ahead of her victory, the American beat Spanish wildcard Guiomar Maristany Zuleta De Reales (6-4, 6-7 (3), 6-1).
Trevisan, ranked No 90, defeated Spanish qualifier Lucia Cortez Llorca (6-3, 6-3) in the previous round.
