Frenchwoman Oceane Dodin won against Russian lucky loser Erika Andreeva 6-4, 6-4 to reach the last eight of the Budapest Open at Római Tennis Academy on Wednesday.
Dodin, ranked No 106, will face Lauren Davis next.
The Frenchwoman defeated Romanian Irina Bara (7-6 (3), 6-3) in the previous round.
In the previous round, Andreeva, ranked No 134, won against Hungarian wildcard Rebeka Stolmar (6-1, 6-1).
