Canberra Open: Parrizas Diaz beats Tauson to reach final
Nuria Parrizas Diaz beat Clara Tauson 6-4, 7-6 (4). She’ll face Harriet Dart in the Canberra final.

Spaniard Nuria Parrizas Diaz won against Dane Clara Tauson 6-4, 7-6 (4) to reach the final of the Canberra Open on Thursday Friday.
Parrizas Diaz, ranked No 123, will play Great Britain’s Harriet Dart in the final.
Ahead of her victory today, the Spaniard beat Swiss qualifier Celine Naef (6-3, 6-1), Russian Kamilla Rakhimova, the No 5 seed (6-4, 0-6, 6-3) and Frenchwoman Oceane Dodin, the No 3 seed (6-2, 3-1 ret.).
Tauson, ranked No 107, won against Swiss Viktorija Golubic, the top seed (6-2, 6-4), French qualifier Fiona Ferro (6-3, 4-6, 6-3) and American wildcard Maya Joint (6-4, 6-2) earlier in the week.
