Russian Anna Blinkova, the No 3 seed, moved into the second round of the Cluj-Napoca Open by beating Swiss qualifier Simona Waltert 6-3, 6-0 at the BTarena on Monday.
Blinkova, ranked No 51, will play Spaniard Nuria Parrizas Diaz next.
