Dutch Open: Rogers makes last four
Shelby Rogers edged out Kirsten Flipkens 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 on Friday afternoon and will play Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, the top seed, in the next round

American Shelby Rogers reached the last 4 of the Dutch Open by edging out Belgian Kirsten Flipkens 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 at the Autotron Rosmalen on Friday.
Rogers, ranked No 42, will face Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, the top seed, next.
The American beat Russian Vitalia Diatchenko (6-2, 6-4) and Kazakh Elena Rybakina, the No 3 seed (6-2, 6-4) ahead of her victory.
Earlier in the tournament, Flipkens, ranked No 308, won against Russian qualifier Anastasia Tikhonova (6-2, 5-7, 6-3) and American Ann Li (6-1, 6-1).
