Madrid Open: Cristian upsets Krejcikova, reaches third round
Jaqueline Cristian beat Barbora Krejcikova 2-6, 6-0, 6-2 on Friday afternoon and will play the winner of the match between American Danielle Collins, the No 13 seed, and Serb qualifier Olga Danilovic in the next round

Romanian qualifier Jaqueline Cristian won against No 22 seed Barbora Krejcikova 2-6, 6-0, 6-2 to advance to the third round of the Madrid Open at the Caja Magica on Friday.
Cristian, ranked No 73, will play the winner of the match between American Danielle Collins, the No 13 seed, and Serb qualifier Olga Danilovic next.
