Russian Kamilla Rakhimova, the No 3 seed, beat Pole Maja Chwalinska 7-5, 6-4 to reach the last 16 of the Megasaray Hotels Open 2 on Wednesday.
Rakhimova, ranked No 77, will face Russian Oksana Selekhmeteva next.
