German lucky loser Ella Seidel defeated Liechtensteiner lucky loser Kathinka von Deichmann 6-3, 6-1 to reach the second round of the Ningbo Open at the Yinzhou Tennis Center on Tuesday.
Seidel, ranked No 121, will face Kazakh Yulia Putintseva next.
