Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova, the No 9 seed, moved into the last 16 of the Nordea Open by beating Latvian Darja Semenistaja 6-1, 6-4 at Båstad Tennisstadion in Bastad on Tuesday.
Tomova, ranked No 99, will play Frenchwoman Chloe Paquet next.
