Palermo Open: Bondar advances to second round, beating Burel

Anna Bondar defeated Clara Burel 6-4, 6-4 on Tuesday and will face the winner of the match between Italian wildcard Lucrezia Stefanini and Hungarian Panna Udvardy in the next round

Hungarian Anna Bondar, the No 7 seed, moved into the second round of the Palermo Open by winning against Frenchwoman Clara Burel 6-4, 6-4 at A.S.D. Country Time Club in Palerme on Tuesday.

Bondar, ranked No 50, will play the winner of the match between Italian wildcard Lucrezia Stefanini and Hungarian Panna Udvardy next.
