Italian Open: Zheng brushes aside Frech to move into last 16

Chinese Zheng Qinwen, the No 8 seed, advanced to the last 16 of the Italian Open by defeating Pole Magdalena Frech, the No 26 seed, 6-3, 6-2 at the Foro Italico in Rome.
Zheng, ranked No 8, will face Canadian Bianca Andreescu next.
In the previous round of the Rome tournament, the 22-year-old Chinese won against Serb Olga Danilovic (6-1, 6-4).
Frech, ranked No 25, won against Belarusian Victoria Azarenka (7-5, 6-4) during the second round of the Rome tournament.
