San Luis Potosi Open: Podoroska beats Stakusic to reach quarter-finals

Argentinian Nadia Podoroska, the No 4 seed, moved into the last eight of the San Luis Potosi Open by winning against Canadian wildcard Marina Stakusic 6-1, 7-6 (5) at the Club Deportivo Potosino.
Podoroska, ranked No 78, will play Italian Lucrezia Stefanini next.
Ahead of her victory, the Argentinian beat American Mccartney Kessler (7-6 (4), 4-6, 6-3).
Stakusic, ranked No 217, won against Rebecca Marino (6-2, 2-6, 6-0) in the previous round of the San Luis Potosi tournament.
