Seoul Open: Linette sets up Raducanu quarter-final in Seoul
Magda Linette defeated Kristina Mladenovic 4-6, 7-6 (5), 6-2 on Thursday night and will play No 6 seed Emma Raducanu in the next round
Pole Magda Linette, the No 3 seed, beat Frenchwoman Kristina Mladenovic 4-6, 7-6 (5), 6-2 to advance to the quarter-finals of the Seoul Open at the Seoul Olympic Park on Thursday night.
Linette, ranked No 51, will face former US Open champion Emma Raducanu, who beat Yanina Wickmayer in straight sets, next.
In the previous round of the Hana Bank Korea Open, the Pole defeated Dutchwoman Arianne Hartono (6-2, 7-5).
Mladenovic, ranked No 135, won against wildcard Sohyun Park (6-4, 4-6, 6-3) in the first round of the Hana Bank Korea Open.
