Tallinn Open: Top seed Kontaveit advances to semi-finals

Estonian Anett Kontaveit, the top seed, reached the last four of the Tallinn Open by winning against Belgian qualifier Ysaline Bonaventure 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 at the Forus Tennis Centre on Friday evening.
Kontaveit, ranked No 4, will face the winner of the match between Czech wildcard Karolina Muchova and Estonian Kaia Kanepi next.
Ahead of her victory, the Estonian edged out Chinese Xiyu Wang (3-6, 6-2, 7-5) and defeated Czech Tereza Martincova (6-2, 6-1).
Bonaventure, ranked No 138, won against American Shelby Rogers (6-4, 6-4) and Swiss Jil Teichmann, the No 9 seed (7-6 (8), 6-3) earlier in the tournament.
