Daniel Evans edged out Facundo Bagnis 6-4, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 on Tuesday night. He’ll play Frenchman Jeremy Chardy in the next round

No 25 seed Daniel Evans moved into the second round of the Australian Open by edging out Argentinian Facundo Bagnis 6-4, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 at Melbourne Park on Tuesday night.
Evans, ranked No 30, will face Frenchman Jeremy Chardy next.
