“Alcaraz loves girls” – Kyrgios backs Sinner for greater success, Mouratoglou responds
Nick Kyrgios and Patrick Mouratoglou shared their thoughts on who between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner will end with more titles

Nick Kyrgios has backed Jannik Sinner for greater success in tennis than Carlos Alcaraz amid Wimbledon, while Patrick Mouratoglou disagreed.
Sinner and Alcaraz are set to dominate men’s tennis in the coming decade, hence, they will repeatedly be in each other’s path. This raises the question of whether Alcaraz or Sinner will win more titles.
Kyrgios and Mouratoglou deliberated on the same during their round-table chat for the Ultimate Tennis Showdown (UTS) on Thursday.
The Aussie picked Sinner over Alcaraz, suggesting the Spaniard’s off-court interests might sidetrack him.
“I’ll say Sinner, because Alcaraz loves girls,” Kyrgios said. “He might get distracted, he might party too much. That’s my only thing, where Sinner will stay a bit locked in, I think.”
Kyrgios’ comments came a few days after Alcaraz’s presence in Ibiza made headlines after his French Open triumph.
Mouratoglou cites head-to-head
Mouratoglou supported Kyrgios’ argument and claimed Sinner has been more consistent on the tour.
“Sinner is more consistent in general,” Naomi Osaka’s coach said. “It’s more his mentality. If you look at the season, Alcaraz is losing many more matches than Sinner, so many more. And you think he should not, why? But because he’s not always there. Even during the match, he has ups, downs. For that reason, yes.”
However, the Frenchman picked Alcaraz, citing his head-to-head dominance over Sinner (8-4).
“But at the end, it’s going to be all about… their head-to-head,” he added. “Because they are gonna face each other in the finals a lot. So, who’s gonna win most of the time is the one who’s gonna have the most titles at the end. If you look at it for the moment, the last five… Alcaraz. Five times in a row, it’s a lot. I say Alcaraz, but it’s gonna be close.”
