Second seed Cameron Norrie moved into the semi-finals of the Argentina Open by winning against Argentinian Tomas Martin Etcheverry 5-7, 6-0, 6-3 at the Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club on Friday evening.
Norrie, ranked No 12, will play the winner of the match between Peruvian qualifier Juan Pablo Varillas and Italian Lorenzo Musetti, the No 3 seed, next.
The British No 1 is into his fifth career semi-final on clay. He has reached three finals and won his lone clay-court title at Lyon in 2022.

In the previous round of the Buenos Aires Open, Cameron Norrie edged out Argentinian wildcard Facundo Diaz Acosta (4-6, 7-5, 7-6 (6)).
Etcheverry, ranked No 82, beat Hugo Dellien (3-6, 6-2, 6-2) and Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena (4-6, 6-1, 6-2) in the previous rounds of the Buenos Aires Open.
