Frederic Fontang is a former professional tennis player from France and is now a tennis coach. He is currently coaching with Canadian tennis player Felix Auger-Aliassime (as of May 4, 2024).

Fontang played pro tennis between 1989 and 1998. He rached a career-high singles ranking of No 59 in the world and won the ATP Tour title in Palermo in 1991.

He also worked with Garcia from March 2011 to June 2012, guiding her to the US Open Juniors final and French Open juniors semis. He worked with Pospisil from October 2012 until August 2016 taking the Canadian from outside the top 100 to the top 25 in singles and to the top 5 in doubles.
