Dutch Open: Dutchman Griekspoor knocks out De Minaur to reach semi-finals

Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor, the No 6 seed, moved into the semi-finals of the Dutch Open by edging out Australian Alex de Minaur, the No 4 seed, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 at the Autotron Rosmalen in s-Hertogenbosch on Friday afternoon.

Griekspoor, ranked No 38, will play the winner of the match between Finn Emil Ruusuvuori and Italian Jannik Sinner, the second seed, next.

Ahead of his victory, the Dutchman beat Swede Mikael Ymer (6-2, 3-6, 6-3) and Australian Alexei Popyrin (6-3, 6-2).

De Minaur, ranked No 18, won against Serb Laslo Djere (6-1, 6-7 (5), 6-3) in the previous round of the’s-Hertogenbosch tournament.
